IU field goal! Cuts Penn State's lead to 11. Still in this thing!

Ps. There have been 500000 commercials for something called "Punkin' Chunkin'". At first I was just annoyed, but by now, I'm slightly intrigued.

Well, IU strikes last with a touchdown pass from Chappell. And that ends the game ladies and gentlemen.
Another tough road loss, but as always, IU came out ready to play, and Penn State did not. We didn't capitalize off the mistakes they made as much as anyone would've liked, but I think they put up a great fight against a ranked team. I'm an eternal optimist so even though I wished the outcome was different, I am really proud of our Hoosiers today.

Again, the commentators were really, extremely complimentary of the Hoosiers, especially Ben, calling him the best QB in the Big Ten right now. I thought he had a really great game today for the most part and Belcher had a great catch for that first touchdown. I also thought that Sean Lee has a great game for Penn State. And obviously, Joe Pa never fails to crack me up. Gave a nice shout out to IU in his post-game press conference turning a question around to give all the credit to IU for the first half. We also got several great close up camera time with our own "Euro" as he did work out on the field.

Even though we had a tough loss this week, I have complete faith in IU's ability to regroup this week to come out strong against arch rival Purdue in the Bucket Game next weekend. It will be my first time on the better side of this rivalry so it should be a great weekend :)

As always, no matter what, proud of where this program is going and proud to be a Hoosier.

For the Glory.
Another Penn State touchdown. We need to score here to get back in the game. Either way, I think that Indiana is really making Penn State work for absolutely everything right now. Ben is getting some great protection from his line today and that's allowing for IU to set up some great opportunities. Now it's time to capitalize on some of those and get ourselves back in this thing.

And a big pick up to Terrance Turner for a first down at the Penn State 35. Let's go!

Other Big Ten News:
Northwestern is up on Illinois in the first battle for the Land of Lincoln Trophy (a giant hat).
Ohio State and Iowa kick off soon with an automatic BCS bid on the line. Who you think is going to take that one?
Okay- Well it really looked like IU's offense was finding its passing game there, but then Ben Chappell made his first big mistake of the game as it was intercepted and run back for a touchdown by Navorro Bowman. and Penn State takes the lead for the first time in the game.
But there is a lot of football left to be played here and Indiana still is looking great. The Commentators are really really complimentary of the IU program during this fantastic game we have going here.
ANOTHER Penn State turnover on the punt!!!!! IU recovers at the Penn State 30 yard line. WOW!!!
IU misses the 47 yard field goal--so another missed opportunity--and Penn State ends the half with a Penn State touchdown after a costly penalty on Mayberry and a missed Holding call for IU.
Someone should get to Lynch before he blows a blood vessel in his head. I'm a little worried about him. Not that it's not justified.

Well, Penn State definately got the momentum going into halftime, but we'll see if Coach Lynch can get his boys fired up here for the second half.

We really have to take advantage of these Penn State mistakes and not let this comeback beat us. Keep at it boys! Love for our Hoosiers right now!

In other Big Ten news: Minnesota's losing to South Dakota State (?? who??) and Purdue Pete (Purdue's mascot) was given a penalty for being in the end zone during a touchdown. Epic Failure.

Anyways..I'll keep you all updated throughout the game!

HOOSIERS!
Penn State is on the board with a field goal with 3 minutes left in the half. The fact that it was kept to only a field goal can be attributed to great defense of Council and Thomas on a pass play, stopping Penn State at the goal line resulting in an incomplete pass. Let's see if IU can go into the locker room with the momentum here.
Alright Hoosiers! Off to a great start!

Indiana is up 10-0 on Penn State after the opening drive resulted in a field goal. But Daryll Clark was intercepted by the Hoosiers leading to IU's first touchdown of the day. Penn State seemed to be putting together a scoring drive, only to be intercepted again by the Hoosiers. This interception didn't lead to much by Indiana.
But on a short kick, Penn State FUMBLES, recovered by Chris Hagerup (punter) to give IU the ball on the 29.

WOW!!!!!!!!!
Let's keep it up Hoosiers!
Are you ready for this?? Hope you are camped out in front of you TV tuned into the Big10 Network and on upset alert.
